We hosted a private event at comet ping pong and were extremely satisfied in every way. First off, their decorations are on point. The whole space evokes a classy ping pong clubhouse. Additionally the service and the food were not top notch. We experienced some slight issues getting the pizza out quickly and as an apology our whole party (of 40) got dessert. We'll be back for sure.
Great atmosphere! The wings are LIGIT! They are not slimy or crispy. BUT they literally fall-off-the-bone and have a smokey, yet spicy flavor. Their brick oven pizzas are fresh and delicious too.
New Comet Ping Pong fan here! Great food and vibes. I’m vegetarian and so glad they let me sub potato for the chicken on the Spring Chick pizza. It was amazing!! Someone even asked me what pizza it was on their way out because it looked so good. Yum yum
Went to Comet Ping Pong Pizza bc q-anon recommended it if you're in DC! Went in the afternoon and it wasn't too busy. I wanted a pizza and they have just about any topping you'd desire. I went with the Hottie, pepperoni and jalapeno. My wife wanted something lighter and got a meatball bowl and we split a Greek salad. The salad was great, spring leafiness and feta! The pizza was what I'd call ok on the yum scale, and the meatballs very good! We had a couple beers to wash it down. The service was excellent, meeting our needs and bringing some humor to the table. We were served quickly and food was hot. We had an enjoyable time and I can see why this place is popular!
Laid back atmosphere, with booths to eat at and ping pong tables to play at. The chicken wings are very good and they have the best vegetarian pizza in the city, with a soft feta and the perfect crust (soft inside, crunchy outside). Great for parents with kids or even teens/adults to play ping pong. Gets crowded and loud, though
A Great place to relax with excellent food and service. My family and I ate here while on vacation. The weather in DC is perfect for the outside seating. We started with the Garlic Knots and then three types of pizza and a Greek Salad!
For a place this fun and reasonably priced, I didn’t expect the food to be as good as it was. The menu was just as fun as the restaurant, and everything we ordered was delicious. We had the Mac and cheese bites, lentil salad, garlic knot meatball sliders, wings and spring chick pizza. The lentil salad was unique and tasty. The garlic knot meatball sliders were amazing, were bigger than I expected and such a good idea. The wings had a great flavor and were so tender they practically melt in your mouth. Honestly some of the best wings I’ve ever had. The pizza is true Neapolitan style dough. Robust yet soft with the right amount of char. The flavors of the spring chick were excellent. The quality of the pizza was something I would expect from a fancy white tablecloth Italian Ristorante, a pleasant surprise for a place with ping pong tables. We finished with an Oreo sundae. All in all it ticks every box. The cocktails were tasty, the staff were friendly, the ambiance is lovely. It’s a great place to take the family, meet up with friends, or go on a date.
The pizza is very good (excellent sauce, crisp crust (beautiful bubbles!!), cheese is nice), but seriously, no large pie? I see the economic value of and the personal freedom afforded by a personal pizza, but nevertheless I must demand a large pie to satisfy the traditional social aspect of demolishing a pizza together with your friends.
